About Worship

In Ugandan Christianity, worship is understood as a lifestyle of honoring God through all aspects of life, not just formal church services. It encompasses both public, community gatherings and private, individual expressions of devotion. Worship is about aligning one’s heart, mind, and actions with God’s will, recognizing His greatness, and expressing love and reverence through various acts. 

  Worship is fundamentally an inward disposition of love and reverence for God, expressed outwardly through actions. 

Worship is not limited to singing or formal rituals but extends to all of life, including work, relationships, and daily activities, all offered as a “living sacrifice” to God.
